From the physics of lift to the thrill of a first take-off. Students assemble quadcopters part by part, learn why propellers spin in opposite pairs, practise on simulators, then fly for real under open North-East skies, with safety and responsible-flying rules built into every session.
Ages
10+
Duration
12 sessions per level
Format
Classroom + open-field flight days
You will build
- A quadcopter assembled from frame, motors, props and flight controller
- Simulator flight hours before you touch real sticks
- A real outdoor flight: take-off, hover, square patrol, landing
- An aerial photography mission you plan and fly yourself
Training drones and simulators provided by NEbots. Flight days follow strict safety protocol and responsible-flying guidelines.
The course roadmap
5 levels, from your first spark to showcase day. Follow the trail.
- 1Level 1
Why things fly
Lift, thrust and drag: discovered by throwing, spinning and testing, not by memorising.
- 2Level 2
Assemble your quad
Frame, motors, propellers, controller: built with your own hands, checked part by part.
- 3Level 3
Simulator hours
Crash a hundred times on screen so you don't crash once outside.
- 4Level 4
First real flight
Take-off, hover, land. The moment every student remembers.
- 5Level 5
Mission day
Plan and fly an aerial photo mission, then debrief like a real pilot.
- Finish line
