The flagship NEbots course. Students wire real circuits, mount real motors and write the logic that brings their robot to life, no simulations, no watching videos. By the end of level one, every student has built a robot that senses its world and moves through it.
Ages
8+
Duration
12 sessions per level
Format
In-school & weekend batches
You will build
- A motorised bot that drives, turns and follows your commands
- A line-following robot that steers itself along a track
- An obstacle-avoiding rover with ultrasonic 'eyes'
- A grabber arm for the end-of-course Robo Games
Robotics kit included: motors, sensors, controller board and chassis. Students keep what they build during take-home projects.
The course roadmap
5 levels, from your first spark to showcase day. Follow the trail.
- 1Level 1
Meet your kit
Open the box, learn every part by touching it, and light up your first circuit on day one.
- 2Level 2
Make it move
Motors, wheels and power: build a driving bot in week one and race it.
- 3Level 3
Give it senses
Add ultrasonic and infrared sensors so your robot can see lines and dodge obstacles.
- 4Level 4
Code the brain
Program behaviours: follow, avoid, decide. Your logic, your robot's moves.
- 5Level 5
Robo Games
A showcase day: robots race, navigate mazes and grab objects while parents watch.
- Finish line
You did it!
Show off what you built, take your projects home, and level up to the next stage.
