NeuroSeeds

AI isn't magic, and your child can prove it.

Duration
10 sessions
Format
In-school & weekend batches

Most children use AI every day and think it is magic. This course takes that apart. Students train their own image, sound and pose models using their own photographs and voices, then deliberately break them to see where the limits are. They finish able to explain in plain words how a machine learns, why it gets things wrong, and what makes a tool worth trusting.

You will build

  • An image classifier trained on objects from your own classroom
  • A sound model that recognises your voice and your friends'
  • A pose-controlled game you steer with your body
  • A short talk explaining how your model thinks, given to the class

No expensive hardware needed. Students work on guided browser tools and NEbots provides devices during class sessions.

The course roadmap

6 levels, from your first spark to showcase day. Follow the trail.

  1. 1
    Level 1

    What is a pattern?

Play detective with data and spot the patterns a machine would look for.

  2. 2
    Level 2

    Train your first model

Teach a computer to tell two objects apart using photos you take yourself.

  3. 3
    Level 3

    Break it on purpose

Find the inputs that fool your model, and work out why they do.

  4. 4
    Level 4

    Machines that listen

Train a sound model and build something that responds to your voice.

  5. 5
    Level 5

    Machines that see you

Pose detection: build a game controlled by how you move.

  6. 6
    Level 6

    Using AI well

Where these tools help, where they mislead, and how to check their answers.

  7. Finish line

    You did it!

Show off what you built, take your projects home, and level up to the next stage.

Then what?
